Financial Literacy

I am a first-generation Portuguese-Canadian and I am settler on these lands. My business, The Art of Change, is a hybrid organization with employees and clients residing and working across a variety of traditional territories. We conduct our work mainly from the homelands of the Nehiyaw (Cree), Denesuliné (Dene), Nakota Sioux (Stoney), Anishinabae (Saulteaux), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and Métis peoples. In the spirit of deep respect and reciprocity, I acknowledge that we are located on a sacred place that has been shaped by the many contributions of the diverse Indigenous Peoples past and present. I also understand this place is impacted by the ongoing process of colonialism. In all that my team and I do, we express gratitude and respect for the land we use, we respect and pledge to be allies of all Indigenous Peoples, and we commit to honoring and advancing Reconciliation.
